About the Unit

The Hideaway is an efficiency unit, a ski-in, ski-out vacation rental located at Sugar Mountain on the Oma’s Meadow Ski Slope at Sugar Ski & Country Club. Approx. 500 hundred feet from the ski slope at an elevation of about 4800′. This unit offers breathtaking views of mountains. Not only are you facing Oma’s Meadow slope, but you also can see Beech Mountain. This unit has a queen bed that allows you views of mountains while in bed. You can also take in the sights on your private balcony. This unit has a 44″ smart TV, Google Mini, and many USB charging ports.

This unit has a fully equipped kitchen, ski cubby, and electric fireplace. This unit is perfect for a couple of two.

My daughter, mother, and I had an amazing stay, it was by far the cutest place. Cozy with amazing views, we couldn’t stop saying how much we loved staying there. We will definitely be back! Prime location to anything you need!

Joey's place was absolutely perfect for our ski trip! Heated towel racks, boot dryer, and access to a heated pool/hot tub/sauna we're clutch to fight off the small blizzard we ran in to. Just a short, easy, walk to the top of Oma's lift made it so easy to come in for lunch. The place was super clean and the kitchen we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at Joey‘s place. The apartment was very clean and big enough for my husband and I and our 2 boys. It was great to come home to a cozy place after spending all day on the slopes. The pool and hot tub were just what we needed to relax after skiing. We will definitely be back.

Joey was super responsive and next step service. We had something break at the rental in the bathroom and within an hour he was there with cookies (and a toilet seat) in hand. Replaced it and all was well in the world again. Always asking if we need any advice or help with anything while there. The place is cozy and beds/linens were very nice and comfortable. Definitely would go back again.

This cozy condo is ideal for 2 people. With my husband, me and our young son it was tight but doable. Nice touches like Christmas coffee for the Keurig made it feel extra cozy and the beautiful view of the mountains from the bed is amazing! The slopes are just a very short walk down the drive. Unfortunately the slope and lift were not open yet since we visited early in the season (first week of December) but that was expected. Later in the season this will be a great ski in ski out location. The indoor pool and hot tub were very enjoyable as well. This is definitely a good deal for your dollar!

This was an amazing stay. We are a family of three and this place was perfect for us. The view was unbeatable, mountains on one side and the ski resort/lift on the other. You see people going down the mountain right from bed which we all got a kick out of. We basically just left the blinds up the whole time, woke up to the most beautiful sunrise. Proximity to Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. Joey was an amazing host. He and his wife were communicative and provided all the instructions up front and will still periodically check in. Amazing is the best way I can explain this stay will definitely be returning.
